Magefishian

My submission for the Jame Gam 52.

This is Magefishian, a small game about a magician that goes fishing to defeat the Kraken. 

How to play:

With a special kind of magic, you are able to control the fishing rod's hook directly to catch fish. But you'll have to dodge the numerous rocks that damage the hook.  You can heal, but your heals are limited and there is a short cooldown. After dodging some of the attacks, a green circle will appear. Touch it and you will catch a fish.

There are fish of different rarities and sizes, some of which are not even fish at all. They appear in your hand. Organize your bucket efficiently, or when you catch quite a rare fish, you might not have enough space for it. After you organized your bucket, press the confirm button and choose whether to keep fishing, or sail to the market.

You can sell your fish at the market, buy upgrades and heals on the market.

After 5 days (5 fishing sessions) Kraken arrives. To win the game you have to defeat it. To deal damage you must touch red circles when they appear.

Controls:

wasd - move the hook

space/right mouse button- dash

q/e - heal (has a cooldown, be aware)

left mouse button - interact

f11 - fullscreen

esc - close the game
